Forensic Healthcare Specialist

At Partnering Health Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Healthcare Professional to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of detained persons in police custody.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting Clinical Assessments: You will conduct thorough clinical assessments of detained persons, identifying their healthcare needs and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Forensic Medical Examinations: You will conduct forensic medical examinations, gathering evidence for use in the criminal justice system.
- Providing Advice and Guidance: You will provide expert advice and guidance to Custody Officers and other stakeholders on healthcare matters.
- Record Keeping: You will maintain accurate and detailed records of your work, including the recording of injuries.
- Continuous Service Improvement: You will participate in the collection of data for service audits and other mechanisms for achieving continuous service improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in forensic healthcare or a related field.
- Strong clinical assessment and examination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced custody environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
