Spire Healthcare is seeking an experienced Clinical Chemotherapy Expert to join our dynamic oncology team.
- As a Clinical Chemotherapy Expert, you will serve as the clinical expert and professional resource for the multi-professional team, patients, and caregivers.
You will be responsible for managing direct patient care, including safely administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of direct patient care and clinical caseload.
- Collaboration with professionals and agencies to ensure patient needs are met.
- Providing professional support to colleagues.
- Offering patients a holistic needs assessment and creating care plans.
- Providing specialist advice to deliver effective cancer care.
- Promoting respectful relationships and patient involvement in care decisions.
- Demonstrating advanced knowledge in chemotherapy administration and associated toxicities.
- Participating in hospital forums and committees.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Post-registration course in cancer care.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
