Sanctuary Personnel is looking for a skilled Substance Misuse Nurse to join their team in a prison setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will manage your own caseload, assessing, monitoring, and providing specialist nursing care to prisoners with substance misuse issues.
  • You will develop and implement care plans in collaboration with prison primary care staff and external teams.
  • You will work closely with service users, families, and professionals to ensure high standards of mental health care.
  • You will participate in weekly team meetings to discuss referrals and develop care plans.
  • You will ensure patient and staff safety by following health and safety policies.

Requirements:

  • You must have a relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health).

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of £34, reflecting the importance of this role, and will have access to a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities.
