Consultant Psychiatrist in Peterborough Adult Locality Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Peterborough Adult Locality Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise to our community mental health services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our community mental health services
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients
- Contribute to the assessment and treatment of patients with mental health disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
- Participate in mental health act assessments and provide clinical leadership for patients on supervised community treatment orders
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives

We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following skills and experience:
- Full GMC registration and licence to practice
- MBBS or equivalent
- Approved Clinician Status or eligible to attend training
- Specialty Registration in psychiatry
- CCT in adult psychiatry or within 6 months of attainment of Higher Training CCT at time of interview
- Experience of multi-disciplinary working
- Experience of teaching and supervision of doctors in training
- Proven experience of good working relationships
