SEN Teaching Assistant Position in Primary Schools

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a skilled Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged student in one of our partner schools. This role requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can adapt teaching methods to meet the student's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to develop tailored learning plans that cater to the student's specific needs, enhancing their academic and social growth.
• Foster social skills and emotional development, promoting confidence and friendships through engaging activities and supportive interactions.
• Monitor progress, observing and recording milestones to track the student's growth and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• Experience working with primary-aged children, with a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Passion for SEN (Special Educational Needs), with knowledge of Level 2 or 3 qualifications considered an asset.
About Protocol Education:
• Competitive salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
