About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Support Worker to join our team at a special school in Taunton. The school provides a supportive environment for students with complex needs, and we are looking for someone who can help our students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with challenging behaviour in engagement and participation in class
  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with pupil and classroom management
  • Guide pupils when they are struggling and help them to become regulated and calm
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEMH/complex needs
  • Right to work in the UK (Valid Visa)
  • Relevant references and DBS/police checks if necessary
