We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our team at a Specialist Nurture school in the Wakefield area. This school provides education and care services for children aged 11-19 years old with complex special educational needs, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities.

The school follows the PBS framework and offers a range of therapeutic services to support students with SEND and Neurodiversity. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering lesson plans that meet the needs of students with SEND and Neurodiversity.
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Providing emotional and social support to students with complex needs.
  • Attending meetings and CPD sessions after school hours.
  • Holding a valid DBS subscription.
