Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at 300 North Limited. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive commercial management support to our contract teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Management: Provide day-to-day commercial support to contract teams, ensuring the identification and management of legal, financial, and commercial risks and opportunities.
- Best Practices & Governance: Drive the adoption of commercial best practices and ensure compliance with internal governance policies and procedures.
- Contractual Guidance: Advise contract teams on commercial queries, interpretation of contract terms and conditions, including risks, liabilities, payment mechanisms, KPIs, and scope requirements.
- Risk & Opportunity Management: Ensure risk and opportunity registers are maintained with clear action plans, taking direct responsibility for managing these elements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in commercial management within the construction, facilities management, or related industries.
- Experience in managing Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts would be an advantage.
- Strong background in contract negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with contract law and an understanding of key contractual provisions.
