Deliver Exceptional Commercial Results
Mitie is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our contract management team, you will play a critical role in delivering commercial solutions and providing day-to-day commercial management support to our contract teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with other support functions and dedicated contract roles to understand and deliver commercial solutions.
- Provide commercial management support to contract teams, including advising on commercial queries and interpretation of contract terms and conditions.
- Identify and manage legal, financial, and commercial risks and opportunities in collaboration with the contract team.
- Drive the uptake and creation of awareness of commercial best practice and internal governance policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining risk & opportunity registers and ensuring clear action plans are in place.
- Manage risks and opportunities directly and provide support to account teams on contract variations and change orders.
Requirements:
- Experience in risk and opportunity management, as well as resolving complex issues through problem-solving and negotiations.
- Understanding of key contract provisions critical for managing the contract risk profile.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the contract team and other support functions.
