Job Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in building relationships with customers and prospects, developing commercial skills, and generating revenue. This role requires a strong ability to prospect for new leads, qualify and close quotations, and manage customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with new and existing customers to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide technical expertise and insight to discover and close new leads and opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and position relevant products for customers.
  • Develop and implement a proactive strategy for prospecting new business, including researching accounts, lead qualification, and customer outreach.
  • Utilize the Sales Cloud CRM system to manage leads, opportunities, and provide insights into accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate a seamless customer buying journey.
  • Travel up to 20% for face-to-face meetings, conferences, and sales meetings.

Requirements

  • BSc in a life science discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to engage customers and prospects quickly, both virtually and face-to-face.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • Commercial experience or evidence of a commercial mindset, preferably in the life science reagents market.
