Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join our team in Bristol. With a focus on providing high-quality education to children with special educational needs, this role offers a competitive salary package and opportunities for professional development.

A key aspect of this position is working closely with a supportive team to understand the individual needs of each student and create tailored learning plans. Small class sizes of 6-8 pupils foster strong relationships between teachers and students, making it an ideal environment for building meaningful connections.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to students' diverse needs
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
  • Show confidence and proactivity when dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Enjoy play-based activities with young children and have a good sense of humour

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a new DBS check
  • Preferably teaching experience, but newly qualified teachers are also welcome
