About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Buying Coordinator to join our Buying team at New Look. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Buying process, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Organization
    • Assist in planning and coordinating buying activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
    • Develop and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, samples, and other relevant documents.
  • Buying and Sourcing
    • Support the Buying team in sourcing products, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Sample Management
    • Process and manage samples received from suppliers, ensuring accurate labeling and organization.
    • Prepare samples for meetings and presentations.
  • Trading and Product Awareness
    • Assist in analyzing trade reports and making recommendations for product development.
    • Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and competitor analysis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Previous experience in fashion retail or buying administration is desirable.
    • Fashion qualification or degree is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
