About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fashion Buying Coordinator to join our Buying team at New Look. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Buying process, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and Organization
    • Assist in planning and coordinating buying activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
    • Develop and maintain accurate records of buying activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier information.
  • Buying and Sourcing
    • Support the Buying team in sourcing products, negotiating prices, and placing orders with suppliers.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders.
  • Sample Management
    • Process and manage samples received from suppliers, ensuring accurate labeling, logging, and organization.
    • Prepare samples for meetings and presentations, ensuring they are presented in a professional and visually appealing manner.
  • Trading and Product Awareness
    • Assist in analyzing trade reports and making recommendations for product development and pricing strategies.
    • Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and competitor analysis, providing insights to inform buying decisions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Previous experience working in fashion or retail, preferably in a buying or administration role.
    • Fashion qualification or degree desirable.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
