Principal EC&I Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal EC&I Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group - IT Careers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering design in support of the Product Zone Power Supply Project (PZPSP).

About the Role:

The PZPSP is an electrical infrastructure project that aims to develop a section of the End State Network upon which the future site expansion can be accommodated. As a Principal EC&I Engineer, you will work closely with the SL Responsible Engineer (RE) to design and implement 11kV Substations, HV cable routing, and associated control cabling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of services and plant/site modifications
  • Nuclear safety and hazard management
  • Collaboration with the SL RE to ensure project deliverables meet requirements

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require good knowledge of design, construction, and commissioning of 11kV Substations, HV cable routing, and associated control cabling. Experience in nuclear safety and hazard management is also essential.
