Job Summary:

The Electronics Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the electrical aspects of customer orders. Your role will involve working closely with the project team to ensure the timely completion of projects and the delivery of high-quality electrical designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce detailed electrical drawings and documentation to enable procurement of electrical components.
  • Coordinate with Lead Design Engineers and other Mechanical/Electrical Engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings, including project kick-offs and reviews, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct site surveys at customer sites, adhering to relevant Health and Safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement cost-saving measures, utilizing 'standard' parts and designs to minimize material and labor costs.
  • Engage in technical dialogue with clients, filtering and submitting project team queries, and actioning formal drawing submissions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Produce high-quality electrical drawings and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Motivator of others and strong team player.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and stakeholder management skills.
  • ONC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
