Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Staffline Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the electrical design of customer orders within a project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed electrical designs for customer orders, ensuring timely and economical solutions.
  • Coordinate with Lead Design Engineers and other Mechanical/Electrical Engineers to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, including project kick-offs and reviews, to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
  • Conduct site surveys at customer sites, adhering to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintain or improve project budget by utilizing standard parts and designs, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Engage in technical dialogue with clients, managing project queries and actioning drawing submissions.
  • Identify and inform the Project Coordinator of additional technical scope (materials and labor) during the contract.
  • Interface with the Factory to address Manufacturing and Test queries during the project build.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in producing electrical drawings and designs.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Strong motivator and team player, with excellent communication skills.
  • ONC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • HNC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/utilities environment, with a strong understanding of electrical design principles.
  • Factory acceptance testing experience and commercial experience.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
