About the Role

Abbott is a global leader in healthcare, and we're seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct EHS training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to work safely.
  • Interface with employees and departments to address safety, transportation, and environmental concerns.
  • Assist with site Emergency Response Team and investigate accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Initiate and submit safety and environmental reports to management, Division, Corporate, and regulatory agencies.
  • Complete EHS projects as assigned and maintain overall site-wide employee health and safety responsibilities and accountability.
Requirements

You'll need to be comfortable leading and influencing others, and have a passion for doing work that improves the quality of people's lives.
