About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety team at Abbott, a world leader in Glucose Monitoring. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our operational functionality business, with a focus on Health and Safety processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct EHS training programs to ensure employees are equipped with safe work practices.
  • Interface with employees and departments on safety, transportation, and environmental-related issues and concerns.
  • Assist with site Emergency Response Team and initiate safety and environmental reports to management, Division, Corporate, and regulatory agencies.
  • Investigate accidents and develop corrections, and complete EHS projects as assigned.
  • Oversee site-wide employee health and safety responsibilities and accountability.
