At Acorn Homes Group, we are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children. Our residential care homes have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted, and we are now seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker.

We offer a competitive salary of £30,160 per annum, including a generous hourly rate of £12.50 (including 2 sleep shifts per week, £40 per sleep). We also provide comprehensive training and development opportunities, including funding for your NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of care, protection, and support to the children and young people in our care. This will involve facilitating their physical, psychological, emotional, and recreational development in line with their individual care plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold or be willing to achieve a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People.
  • Be prepared to work early, late, and night shifts (including sleepovers) on a rota basis.
  • Be over the age of 21 (Employer has claimed an exemption under the Equality Act 2010).
