Safety Officer Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with our Safety Management System.
  • Maintain accurate records of statutory inspections and notifications.
  • Deliver health and safety induction programs for new employees and contractors.
  • Manage and recommend personal protective equipment (PPE) for on-site employees.
Requirements:
  • Health and Safety certification or degree is essential.
  • 2 years' experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the construction industry.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 per annum
