**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a Homelessness Prevention Coordinator to join our team at MTVH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable young people aged 18-25 who are at risk of homelessness or already experiencing it.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective prevention strategies, working closely with our team to ensure seamless service delivery. Your primary goal will be to empower young people to take control of their lives, improving their overall well-being and quality of life.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. A strong understanding of relevant policies and legislation is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement prevention strategies to reduce homelessness risk
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality services
  • Maintain accurate records and report on service performance
  • Contribute to team development and foster a positive work environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, youth work, psychology)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of relevant policies and legislation
