About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to support the Garden Communities programme in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Berinsfield Garden Village Team to deliver a range of projects that shape the garden communities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the transition of the Garden Communities programme from strategic planning to project implementation
  • Contribute to meeting targets of delivering 15,000 new homes and 20,000 new jobs
  • Collaborate on delivery of projects across multiple disciplines, including active travel, wayfinding, green agenda, built environment, placemaking, public art, community facilities, community development, and stewardship
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, with experience in supporting the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as the ability to work in a flexible and hybrid environment. A passion for sustainable communities and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects are also essential.
