About The Role

Our international business is rapidly expanding, and we're seeking a talented Junior Merchandiser to drive international expansion for the brand.

The Junior Merchandiser will manage all aspects of the merchandising function, from planning and stock management to store profiling across all international markets and regions.

We're growing our international footprint, and you will become a brand expert across our concessions and standalone stores, reacting swiftly to ensure our Hobbs customer finds the perfect product mix in the right place, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Allocation Planning: Collaborate with the Branch Merchandiser to develop seasonal store allocation plans for product ranges.
  • Outlet Special Buys: Plan and execute outlet special buys each season.
  • Strategic Inventory Management: Proactively manage and optimise the allocation, assortment, and availability of Hobbs product ranges.
  • Stock Level Analysis: Regularly review store stock levels and propose strategies to improve inventory management and maximise sales, working closely with the Branch Merchandiser and Head of UK and International.
  • Trade Meeting Participation: Attend weekly Trade Meetings, present updates on seasonal performance, and analyse data to inform strategic planning.
  • Store Collaboration: Build strong relationships with Regional and Country Managers, liaise regularly, and conduct store visits to gather feedback and make informed decisions.

About You

This role would suit an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Assistant Merchandiser with a highly analytical and commercial mindset looking for that next step in their career. Previous global exposure would be highly beneficial for this role although not mandatory.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses exceptional Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables, with the proven ability to analyse vast amounts of numerical data effectively.
