Construction Design Coordinator
 
CV Library is proud to work with an established construction group specialising in the building, refurbishment, and maintenance of affordable and social rented properties for Housing Associations. They require a skilled Construction Design Coordinator to join their business on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills and contribute to high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:
 
The successful candidate will assist in the daily management of design activities, ensuring effective communication between Design Consultants and the project team. They will also collaborate with the Site Manager and Preconstruction team, contributing to the development of design packages and procurement strategies. This role involves reviewing and verifying design deliverables, ensuring compliance with project documentation, contract proposals, and statutory requirements. The Construction Design Coordinator will also prepare and submit regular activity reports to the Design Manager and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Design Management Plan.


  • \(1\. Coordinate with Design Consultants to ensure seamless communication and collaboration with the project team.

 

  • \(2\. Review and verify design deliverables, ensuring compliance with project documentation, contract proposals, and statutory requirements.

 

  • \(3\. Prepare and submit regular activity reports to the Design Manager, providing valuable insights into project progress.

 

  • \(4\. Collaborate with the Site Manager and Preconstruction team to develop design packages and procurement strategies.

 

  • \(5\. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Design Management Plan (DMP), ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant.

 
The estimated salary range for this role is £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
