About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Financial Operations Leader to oversee our transactional services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Group Finance Manager - Transactional to lead the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, driving process efficiency, maintaining cash flow, and ensuring timely and accurate transactions across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable Management: Oversee AP processes, manage a team of five, and ensure accurate vendor invoice handling and payment runs.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Lead the AR function, focusing on invoicing, collections, and maintaining strong relationships with partners.
  • Transactional Process Improvement: Streamline and automate processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Controls & Compliance: Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Criteria

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in finance/accounting, with a focus on high-volume AP/AR functions.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage 200) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting financial data clearly.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £75,000 - £80,000 per annum, along with benefits including 25 days holiday + 8 public holidays, with potential for hybrid working.
