FitzRoy is a national charity that provides support to hundreds of individuals with various needs, including learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, or mental health support needs. We are seeking an experienced Professional to join our team as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner, responsible for implementing and embedding positive behaviour plans and strategies in our services.

About the Role
  • This is a one-year fixed-term contract opportunity, working in a supportive environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.
  • As a Positive Behaviour Practitioner, you will be working closely with the management team to develop and implement PBS plans, promoting Active Support and Total Communication approaches.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to support staff development, training, and coaching, ensuring that our teams are equipped to provide high-quality support to our service users.
About You
  • We are looking for an individual with a minimum Level 3 qualification in PBS or Health and Social Care, along with significant experience working with individuals who display behaviours that challenge in a Supported Living or Residential setting.
  • Prior experience working with people with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evening shifts.
