Drive Innovation and Commercialisation

We are seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Manager to join our dynamic team at the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). As a key member of our IP team, you will be responsible for driving our commercialisation efforts and developing our IP strategy.

Your role will involve managing our intellectual property portfolio, identifying opportunities for commercialisation, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business growth. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects related to fusion energy and contribute to our mission to bring fusion electricity to the grid.

We offer a competitive salary of £67,023, inclusive of a Market Premium Payment (MPP), and a flexible working arrangement that includes onsite working for 3 days each week.

About the Role
  • You will have a strong technical background with a degree in Scientific or Engineering discipline.
  • You will be a key part of our IP team responsible for ensuring the IP strategy and implementation supports UKAEA in achieving its goals.
