3D Perception Engineer - Marine Monitoring Systems

We're seeking an experienced 3D Perception Engineer to join our team at Avanti Recruitment, developing cutting-edge ocean monitoring systems. In this role, you'll work on advanced perception systems utilizing camera and radar technologies to enhance maritime surveillance and monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement computer vision and perception algorithms for maritime applications
  2. Design and optimize sensor fusion systems combining camera and radar data
  3. Create robust solutions for challenging marine environments
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate perception systems into our monitoring platforms
  5. Validate and test perception system performance in real-world conditions

Required Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field
  2. 3+ years experience developing perception systems
  3. Strong background in computer vision, sensor fusion, and 3D perception
  4. Proficiency in C++ and Python
  5. Experience with deep learning frameworks and vision libraries

Please note: this role requires the ability to gain SC level security clearance.
