Cinematic Technical Specialist
The Growth Marketing Content Production Team at Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a skilled Cinematic Technical Specialist to join their team. This is a fixed term contract for 16 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help set up cinematic shots, lookdev scenes, and reusable prefabs.
- Understand, review, and improve existing node-based visual scripting logic for game entities and rendering processes, and designing and implementing new logic when needed.
- Adapt to artistic and technical constraints to provide a workflow for cinematic artists on a per project basis.
- Provide hands-on support to artists and engineers regarding asset performance and validation.
- Review creative process and identify opportunities for tool improvements (per project).
- Solve technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline.
- Work with artists and programmers to create 3D art and make sure assets are integrated at its highest quality.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a digital art content creation pipeline, within the video game or film/tv industry with a focus on cinematics.
- Experience within a game engine (Frostbite, Unreal, Unity, or similar).
- Experience producing outstanding cinematic assets.
- Experience with game development frameworks and methodologies.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with 3D DCC tools such as Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder, 3dsMax, or Blender.
- Knowledge of high-level coding language. (Python, C#, mel scripting).
