**SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted:**

We are recruiting a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school setting in Rugby, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs and developing tailored support plans.

About the Role:

  • The Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create individualised learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • This is a full-time fixed-term position from January 2025, with the possibility of being extended for the right candidate.

  • The school prioritises language development and offers speech and language therapy as part of its daily routine.
  • The learning environment is designed to foster self-directed learning, independence, and decision-making skills among young learners aged 5-11.
  • We cater to a range of needs, including Social Emotional Mental Health, Autism/ADHD, and non-verbal pupils.

Salary and Benefits Package:

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you can expect excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the PAYE system.

About Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs.
  • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care, or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students are essential for success in this role.
