About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior UI Designer and Engineer to join our Digital team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-centric experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop best-in-class User Interface assets and artifacts that align with our design and technology principles and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver a variety of changes in multiple Agile workstreams.
  • Represent the UI Design and Engineering function while managing own workloads appropriately.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team by providing expertise and advice on your specialist area and contributing to the development and maintenance of our design system.
Requirements
  • Strong customer focus and desire to deliver engaging and inclusive customer experiences online.
  • Proficient with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with experience of UI kit creation and maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Sass, and working knowledge of React for UI engineering.
  • Experience of Design System creation and/or maintenance, including working with UI repos, contributing towards process and documentation, awareness of systems, tools, processes, and applications used.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with a variety of technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
