Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop best-in-class User Interface assets and artifacts that align with our design and technology principles and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the business to deliver various changes in multiple Agile workstreams.
- Represent the UI Design and Engineering function while managing own workloads appropriately.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team by providing expertise and advice on your specialist area and contributing to the development and maintenance of our design system.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus and desire to deliver engaging and inclusive customer experiences online.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with experience of UI kit creation and maintenance.
- Strong technical skills including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Sass, and working knowledge of React for UI engineering.
- Experience of Design System creation and/or maintenance, including working with UI repos, contributing towards process and documentation, awareness of systems, tools, processes, and applications used.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment, managing multiple deadlines, and working on your own initiative.
