**Job Title:** Educational Outcomes Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Outcomes Specialist to join our team in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth.

**Job Description:

About the Role

This is a key role in supporting the educational outcomes for looked after children and care leavers aged 3-25 years.

You will work with a 'class' of looked after children up to 18 years old to ensure they achieve the best possible educational outcomes and high aspirations.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain Personal Education Plans for each learner in your 'class.'
  2. Navigate the multi-professional network to overcome barriers to learning and progress.
  3. Monitor and track pupil progress, recommending interventions to enable pupils and students to achieve and succeed.
  4. Support and equip the network with skills and experience to support our learners, including training for social workers, schools, and foster carers.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and degree level 2:2 or above.
  • Proven knowledge of education systems in schools, assessment frameworks, and how to challenge under-achievement.
  • A strong understanding of child development, attachment, trauma, and its impact.
  • Clear understanding of the barriers children may experience in accessing their learning.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with vulnerable children, young people, and professionals.
