About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Programme Leader & Lecturer to join our team, specializing in Level 3 BTEC IT and Access to HE (Computing). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the specified BTEC IT and Access to HE (Computing) programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver high-quality teaching across the specified BTEC IT and Access to HE (Computing) programmes (8.5 hours per week).
- Curriculum Leadership: Lead in the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum (6.5 hours per week).
- Student Support: Support students in achieving their academic potential, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure alignment with institutional goals and educational standards.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in IT and Computing education, with experience in delivering BTEC and Access to HE programmes. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven Teaching Experience: A strong background in IT and Computing education, with experience in delivering BTEC and Access to HE programmes.
- Course Development Skills: Proven ability in course development and curriculum planning.
- Commitment to Student Success: A commitment to enhancing student experience and outcomes.
- Excellent Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
