We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Programme Leader & Lecturer to join our team, specializing in Level 3 BTEC IT and Access to HE (Computing). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, leading in the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum, and supporting students in achieving their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Curriculum Development: Deliver high-quality teaching across the specified BTEC IT and Access to HE (Computing) programmes (8.5 hours per week).
  2. Curriculum Leadership: Lead in the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum (6.5 hours per week).
  3. Student Support: Support students in achieving their academic potential, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure alignment with institutional goals and educational standards.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Education Background: A strong background in IT and Computing education, with experience in delivering BTEC and Access to HE programmes.
  2. Course Development: Proven ability in course development and curriculum planning.
  3. Student Focus: A commitment to enhancing student experience and outcomes.
  4. Communication and Organisation: Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Working Pattern:

  1. Tuesday evening
  2. Wednesday morning
  3. Thursday afternoon/evening
  4. Friday afternoon
