Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Mathematics to join our English and Maths department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons in areas such as GCSE retakes, Functional Skills, and apprenticeship programmes. Your passion and dedication will help create a supportive learning environment where students can reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need a level 3 qualification in mathematics or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification. While experience in further education is desirable, we welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences. What matters most is your enthusiasm and commitment to student success.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
  • The ability to achieve a LAT Excellence Pay increment, currently £39,684 (subject to eligibility criteria)
  • Holiday entitlement of up to 55 days (including bank holidays and closure days) (pro-rata if part-time)
  • Teachers' Pension Scheme (TPS) - Your employer contributes the equivalent of 28.68% of your pay towards the cost of the benefits provided
  • A Golden Hello payment of £2,000 upon appointment of the successful candidate and a one-off payment of £2,000 upon successful completion of probationary period
