Job Title: IT Field Engineers

Concept Resourcing is currently recruiting for IT Field Engineers to support a leading technology organisation in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing swap out and installations of new PCs within a leading supermarket chain's depots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend site, locate PCs, and identify printer switch ports
  • Pass details to remote IT contact and swap out existing PCs for new
  • Complete testing, iAuditor reports, and troubleshoot any issues
  • Package legacy kit in preparation for removal from site
  • Pass information to remote IT contact, including printer switch ports
Requirements:
  • Experienced field engineers with experience of PC deployments
  • IT / EPOS / ATM Field engineers will also be considered
  • Ability to travel across the UK and stay away from home on a regular basis
Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, day work. Travel will be involved, and overnight stays may be required. If an engineer is required to travel out of area, hotels and meal allowances are applicable.

Engineers will be paid for 5 days per week. For example, if an engineer is allocated to work Monday to Thursday, they will be paid 4 standard day rates plus 1 retention rate.

Daily rate: £160 per day based on a 10-hour day door to door. Overtime applicable after 10-hours door to door - £16 per hour. Mileage claimable after 75 miles travelled per day - 30ppm. However, engineers should be able to utilise free onsite parking at most stores.

If you wish to use a Ltd company, you will need to supply all relevant Ltd company insurances (public and employers liability, professional indemnity, and IR35 insurance) prior to starting the project.
