Job Title: Field Service Engineer

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, installing, and commissioning electrical equipment, as well as planning maintenance and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test and install electrical equipment, including power and control systems.
  2. Plan and execute maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment.
  4. Work with main contractors to supervise the installation of equipment.
  5. Lead teams and provide instructions and guidance to other workers.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to read electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematics and drawings.
  2. Understanding of electrical and electronic circuit theory.
  3. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Computer literacy and ability to create reports and presentations.
  5. Clean UK driving licence and good health and mobility.
  6. Understanding of health and safety policies and safe working practices.

Working Environment:
The job is based from our UK Service Centre in Birmingham, and the majority of working time will be spent on customer sites, in Europe and worldwide.
