We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cefn Coed Hospital, where you will work in male high dependency rehabilitation/recovery inpatient units for patients with serious mental illnesses.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the well-being of all patients under your care, delegating tasks appropriately and training staff as needed.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Experience in teaching, training, and research is desirable but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients in the male high dependency rehabilitation/recovery unit
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and experiences

**Requirements:**

  • Registered with the GMC as a specialist in psychiatry or eligible for CCT within 6 months
  • Evidence of effective leadership, teaching, and training skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

**Estimated Salary:** £95,000 - £125,000 per annum, depending on experience
