About the Role

Empowr-U CIC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to empowering children and young people in Coventry and Warwickshire. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Sports Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sports programs that cater to the needs of children and young people in our community.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support the delivery of our programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders to promote our organization and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in sports development or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Passion for empowering children and young people, with a commitment to their well-being and development.
