Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our team at Sandwich Sandwich Ltd. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the store manager in the day-to-day operations, working alongside regular team members on shift, and taking on increased responsibility for ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily food safety checks, maintain records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Work alongside the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and food products.
  • Team Management: Supervise and motivate a diverse team, collaborate with the store manager to optimize operational efficiency, and assist in staff training and development initiatives.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels and place orders as necessary.
  • Brand Standards: Uphold brand standards and contribute to a welcoming store environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year experience as a duty manager or shift supervisor in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in conducting daily food safety checks and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
