Machine Shop Foreman Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machine Shop Foreman to join our team at Probe Technical. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our machine shop, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the workflow of the machine shop, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and train machine operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and control the quality of products, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production and delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Machine Shop Foreman or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC milling and lathing, with experience working with XYZ machine tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly.
