Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of machine operators to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor and control production costs, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and implement changes.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to machine operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment, with a strong background in engineering and production processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production-related issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CNC milling and lathing, preferably with XYZ machine tools.
