Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Rainham. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with additional needs and/or disabilities, and will be able to provide individualized support to students with varying levels of need. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, and will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND in a Primary School setting
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure student progress and well-being
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students
  • Assist with classroom activities and lessons
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with additional needs and/or disabilities
  • Ability to provide individualized support to students with varying levels of need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
