Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at TechMet Appointments. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plants by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including planned and reactive maintenance, to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment.
  • Conduct thorough fault finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Participate in new equipment installations, commissioning, and ramp-up activities to ensure seamless integration into our operations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or process industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance principles, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other maintenance team members.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.
