Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Ref: A41-S9974

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at TechMet Appointments. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

The Role:
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment
  • Carry out fault finding, testing and maintenance of electrical wiring and industrial equipment
  • Accurately complete all PM records on time and making sure there is full traceability
  • Assist with internal and external auditors and contractors as required
  • Work on a days-only shift, with some shift cover for training and/or holidays when required
The Person:
  • Will be time-served and will hold a relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification ideally HNC/D qualified
  • Will have over 3 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) in a high-speed production environment
  • Will have over 3 years PPM experience and worked in a highly automated plant
  • Will be proficient in mechanical & electrical systems including pneumatics, welding, hydraulics, stripping and rebuilding machines; electrical fault-finding, repairs and PLC knowledge
