Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Ref: A41-S9974

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at TechMet Appointments. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

The Role:
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out fault finding, testing, and maintenance of electrical wiring and industrial equipment.
  • Accurately complete all PM records on time and ensure full traceability.
  • Assist with internal and external auditors and contractors as required.
  • Work on a variety of shifts, including days and some shift cover for training and/or holidays.
The Person:
  • Must be time-served and hold a relevant electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, ideally HNC/D qualified.
  • Have over 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) in a high-speed production environment.
  • Have over 3 years of PPM experience and worked in a highly automated plant.
  • Be proficient in mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatics, welding, hydraulics, stripping, and rebuilding machines; electrical fault-finding, repairs, and PLC knowledge.
