Commercial Property Paralegal Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Paralegal to join our Legal team on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2025.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake all aspects of commercial property and general property law with a focus on landlord and tenant.
  • Understand and apply commercial property law principles, including drafting commercial leases, licences for land occupation, and telecommunication leases.
  • Draft and review telecommunication wayleaves, commercial shop leases, and land licences for short-term occupation.
  • Support with residential conveyancing, including sales and purchases of registered and unregistered, freehold and leasehold property.
  • Undertake general boundary disputes, ownership queries, encroachment, trespassing, and property litigation.
  • Support with land rectification matters, including land swaps, title anomalies, and associated conveyancing.
Requirements:
  • A law degree or relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience as a Paralegal, Qualified Solicitor, or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of one year PQE (two years desirable) in commercial property or general property law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including report writing and presentation delivery.
  • A confident and positive approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with difficult situations effectively.
