About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of credit control, including invoicing, debt collection, and credit risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounts receivable and credit control activities
  • Implement strategies to improve debt collection and reduce bad debt
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular credit and collections reports to the Finance Director
  • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing clients to minimize financial risk
  • Manage complex account queries and resolve or escalate problems as necessary
  • Monitor outstanding debts and proactively contact customers to ensure timely payments

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in credit control with previous supervisor or management responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent Excel and ERP skills
  • Previous involvement in systems implementations beneficial
