Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a highly experienced HGV driver to join our nationwide Plant and Tool division, hiring equipment including diggers, dumpers, and small power tools to customers across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner while driving safely and responsibly within the law at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment to and from customer sites.
  • Providing hire equipment demonstrations on customer sites.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of relevant checks and administration involved for the hire.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working as an HGV driver, loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment.
  • Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • Recent experience of towing trailers is essential.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and ability to follow guidelines in the workplace.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
Compensation Package:
  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum.
